Authentic resources are all the rage, but are you maximizing their impact? Are you having your students interact with them in a way that increases their proficiency in the language? In this session, we will explore how leveraging authentic resources can motivate and engage students and move them along the proficiency continuum. You will have a chance to review multiple classroom-tested strategies for editing the task and not the text, with the goal of you being able to implement these strategies across a variety of resources when you return to your classroom after the conference.
