Using 21st Century Skills to Enhance the Learner’s Language Experience in the Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Do you ever wonder how  21st century skills can be integrated to develop authentic learning experiences for the language learner? In this session, attendees will learn how to develop learning tasks in which students create authentic products in the target language. A mini-lesson will be used to demonstrate the alignment of instruction using Can-Do Statements to the products created by students in order to demonstrate personalized real world tasks. The products are designed to provide students positive language experiences that enhance learning through the integration of technology. Throughout the session, participants will collaborate on how instructional strategies are used to scaffold instruction and help students develop their presentational/interpersonal skills in the target language.
