This session will simulate a class that focuses on implementing the current Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills based on performance and proficiency. The presentation will provide a variety of activities targeting (1) all modes of communication, (2) available supporting technology, (3) application of grammar in context, (4) utilization of authentic resources, and (5) effective forms of formative and summative assessment that can provide useful feedback to students.
