This session presents strategies and data management systems for identifying authentic materials from throughout the target language speaking world that are rich in language, culture and content and procedures for developing authentic tasks for programs for non-native and heritage speakers. Participants will explore strategies for making authentic materials comprehensible to students and put them in charge of their learning.
